| from wildfires through landscaping wisely. As a result of reading this |
| article, the Alabama Forest Owners Association interviewed the |

AlpaServer 800 Procedure |
| This procedure provides detailed information on the means to |
| configuring a Compaq AlphaServer 800 computer as a server |
| that functions as a database controller, including how to |
| interface it with a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). |

| This procedure allows even a novice to properly configure a |
| Compaq HSZ-70 RAID (Redundant Array of Independent |
| Disks) as a database. Extensive troubleshooting tips are included |
| at the back of the procedure. |

Universal Clone Disk Procedure |
| Michael Archer created a UNIX-based configuration device |
| called a Universal Clone Disk. This procedure shows how to |
| use this device to load UNIX operating system software, install |
| applications, and troubleshoot hardware problems on a variety |
| of DEC, Compaq, and HP servers and workstations. |

Can We Stop Mega-Fires? |
| A Los Angeles-based nonprofit, Wildfire Research Network, |
| requested some help in creating a thought-provoking report on |
| the topic of Mega-Fires, a growing concern in the western US. |
| Michael Archer created the charts and graphs, incorporating |
| them into the report, which was presented to leaders from a |
| number of federal, state, and local fire agencies. |

Station Fire Congressional Testimony |
| Michael Archer created this document as the written portion |
| of Wildfire Research Network's oral testimony to a Congressional |
| panel investigating Southern California's 2009 Station Fire. The |
| charts and graphs were prepared by him and incorporated into |
| the document, which was entered into the Congressional Record. |
